June 1
Season begins for Johnson County Ozone Reduction Campaign
Johnson County employees only

Johnson County employees are encouraged to make decisions and changes in their habits to help reduce ozone during the ozone season.  Travel alternatives such as bus riding, walking, bike riding, and ride sharing are tracked for participating employees for the length of the season.  In addition, activities such as delayed or postponed lawn mowing and gas pumping, as well as staying in for lunch and not topping off at the tank are entered on ballots and prizes are given away. If you would like more information on the County's campaign, please contact us.

Olathe's 7th annual water celebration. Family fun featuring canoeing, fishing, lawn and garden how-to's, water color classes, kids' activities, water slide, and games.  If it rains, event will be rescheduled for August 23, 2008.

August 13 - Idling Reduction
September 10 - Energy Efficiency for Business
