Season begins for Johnson County Ozone Reduction
Campaign
Johnson County employees only
Johnson County employees are encouraged to make
decisions and changes in their habits to help
reduce ozone during the ozone season.
Travel alternatives such as bus riding, walking,
bike riding, and ride sharing are tracked for
participating employees for the length of the
season. In addition, activities such as
delayed or postponed lawn mowing and gas
pumping, as well as staying in for lunch and not
topping off at the tank are entered on ballots
and prizes are given away. If you would like
more information on the County's campaign,
please contact us.
